LITE

"To bleach or not to bleach that is the question?".

LITE is a powerful, multimedia one woman show exploring the psychological and physical impact of using skin lightening products 

Combining drama, humour, pathos and vulnerability, LITE explores the issue of skin lightening/skin bleaching through the eyes of a young woman. The show will confront some difficult issues around beauty, self-image and race. 

The show will include a Q & A Panel with the Creator and Devisor of LITE, Marlene McKenzie. Marlene has been researching and re-devising LITE for 10 years. This after show discussions will be giving the audience an opportunity to share thoughts and perceptions on the show’s themes. In a addition a chance to share her experiences over the last 10 years.
